The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
